Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy explains how you or GreenTik may cancel an account, subscription, or IT service engagement. It applies to cloud, software, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and managed IT services offered through https://greentik.io/. By using our services, you agree to this policy together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
1. How to request a cancellation
You may request cancellation of a plan, project, or account by writing from your registered email to info@greentik.io or through your client dashboard support panel. The request must include:
- Registered name, organization, and account ID
- The service, plan, or project you wish to cancel
- Preferred end date and a brief reason
We typically review cancellation requests within 3–7 working days. Access continues until the request is processed, unless we agree an earlier stop date in writing.
2. Cooling-off and unused services
If you cancel before work has started, and no access credentials, environments, or deliverables have been issued, we will treat the order as unused. Any refund, if eligible, follows the Refund Policy.
If discovery, setup, development, migration, or support hours have already begun, cancellation does not automatically reverse work already performed. Fees for completed milestones, consumed hours, and third-party costs (cloud, licences, or tools purchased for you) remain payable.
3. Recurring plans and subscriptions
- Monthly or annual IT support, hosting, or monitoring plans may be cancelled at the end of the current billing period unless a minimum term is stated in your order.
- Give notice before the next renewal date so we can stop auto-renewal.
- Prepaid periods already started are generally not prorated unless your statement of work says otherwise.
4. Project and custom work
For scoped projects (for example a software build, cloud migration, or security implementation):
- You may cancel remaining unstarted phases with written notice.
- Invoices for completed phases, approved deliverables, and committed third-party spend stay due.
- We may pause or hand over work-in-progress as reasonably possible after outstanding invoices are cleared.
5. Cancellation by GreenTik
We may suspend or cancel an account or service if:
- These Terms or an accepted project agreement are breached
- Payment of an undisputed invoice remains overdue after a reasonable reminder
- False identity, duplicate accounts, or unauthorized access is detected
- The platform, client data, or other customers are misused
- Continued service would violate law or create a serious security risk
Where reasonably possible we will notify the account contact. In cases of fraud, abuse, or imminent harm to systems, we may act without prior notice.
6. Effect of cancellation
When cancellation is completed:
- Portal, dashboard, and production access we control will be revoked
- Managed monitoring, support, and subscription features will stop
- We will, where reasonably practicable, return or delete Client Materials as agreed in the project documents
- Licences, cloud resources, or domains held in your name remain your responsibility unless we were contracted to close them
Reopening a cancelled account is not guaranteed and is subject to a new review.
7. Data, handover, and offboarding
On written request made within 30 days of cancellation, we will provide a reasonable handover of Client Materials we still hold, subject to unpaid fees and security checks. After that period we may delete copies in line with our retention practices, except where law requires us to keep records.
8. Contact
Cancellation questions can be sent to info@greentik.io. We aim to respond within 24–72 business hours.
